1992 – I first picked up the guitar at the age of 16 years. I learned basic guitar chords and rhythms from a guitarist down the road.  In two months he showed me all he knew and I had to move on.  I then heard of a person teaching Spanish guitar through my mothers friend.  Soon afterwards I started taking Flamenco guitar classes from a Flamenco guitarist named Raul Bonegio

Rod Capper

My interest in guitar playing and building goes back some 35 years.  First learning to play at the age of 16, and building my first guitar one year later.

My study of playing carried on into my twenties, alongside a strong interest in guitar construction, materials and such things. Over the years I have developed a sense of what would be my ideal instrument. For the past few years using a mix of science, intuition, and engineering knowledge I have been developing an instrument to incorporate these ideals.
