Rowan Lacey

GUITAR · MUSIC TEACHER

Musically active most of his life, Rowan Lacey has studied a variety of instruments such as the classical guitar, jazz saxophone and cornet and has led him to studying classical guitar at the University of Auckland.

Rowan’s musical experience began in his home town, Wanganui at the age of seven learning the guitar. This had a profound impact on Rowan as his interest in music grew into other instruments. With jazz saxophone he achieved grade eight with distinction whereas the cornet led to performing in a number bands and quartets with the cornet.

Rowan still aspires to grow his experience in both teaching and performing.
